Are they the same?
A computer who solves difficult problems and a person who solves the problem of others.
A student who sees education as a goal and a believer who sees education as a means towards the goal (Allah s.w.t.)
Remember, knowledge is shaped by the civilization in which it comes from.
Knowledge from the West is shaped by the philosophy of the West.
Rational inquiry. Detachment from religion. Heartless. Godless.
And all of this affects us as students.
I long for a time when knowledge brings forth with it what affects the heart of the believer.
When knowledge lights up our hearts and is projected through our actions.
When knowledge is the real knowledge.

Do you know what is the best thing that could be given to you?
The guidance, the light from Allah. The best thing that Allah could ever given you, it is even better than being given the whole world and all of its contents. So why does it matter that your life is so miserable when everything that could you could've ever wanted,Allah's guidance :)
